Stress reduction begins by first realizing that there is an imbalance that requires attention. There are many ways to then address that stressor. Why choose biofeedback? Biofeedback is an individualized as it comes. These are your reactions to over 11,000 different frequency signatures. These signatures range from organs, nerves, muscles, bones, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, flower essences, essential oils, meridians, emotions, and so much more. These reactions indicate where there is stress. My job is to check this reaction to untangle it and send frequencies that your body indicates it would like to bring things into balance in order to reduce stress to mind, body, and spirit. The modality of biofeedback is non-invasive and educates the mind and body how to relax more and more, perceive stress differently, and allow change. This happens at such a subconscious level that shifts are made with grace and ease and only noticed by the aware. Part of my job is to continue to educate my clients to become more aware.
Awareness leads to change if we allow it. I also teach stress reduction techniques that work if they are practiced. Like all things, they won’t work if they are not done. I can only give the tool, but it is up to each individual to use them. One thing I know for sure is that my clients that use the tools get so much more out of the biofeedback experience of stress reduction.
Since at least 90% of all dis-ease is rooted in stress it is vitally important to do something about stress now and not wait until later. Health is wealth, so for long-term vitality and savings in the future pocket book, Biofeedback is an effective way to support the mind, body, and spirit.
Ten sessions in a row is ideal for reinforcement of the new learning. You wouldn’t go to Spanish class one time and expect to become fluent in the language. The more consistent the greater the results. The goal is for your brain to learn and achieve the new pattern, assimilate it throughout the body, and reduce the stress and bring balance. Once that is accomplished you can be empowered to move into life with less reactions to stressors. Many of my clients like to keep working on different stressors and use Biofeedback as a major part of their wellness program. Others come in every couple of months just to make sure information learned has been retained. A few come in when they are sick just to support the body during the stressful healing process. Everyone comes for different reasons, but regardless of the reason Biofeedback reduces stress and brings balance.
I chose to go into this profession because Biofeedback changed my life. It has reduced so many stressors in my life that I am literally an entirely different person than the person I was when I began this process. It is exciting to me to live from a place of responding to stress with tools that work rather than reacting from a place of fear and insecurity. What a wonderful world this would be if everyone had biofeedback and did their homework on a regular basis.
Feel free to share this with those you care about that are wondering about Biofeedback.
